Ambassador Lars Faaborg Anderson, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Israel visited Save a Child’s Heart at the Wolfson Medical Center (WMC). He met Palestinian physicians who are being trained in pediatric cardiac care and Palestinian children who attended the free weekly clinic for Palestinian children at the hospital.

The Heart of the Matter project is co-funded by the European Union Partnership for Peace programme and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project focuses on cooperation between Palestinian and Israeli medical professionals.

Representatives from USAID will visit the clinic on Tuesday 28 April 2015.
