International football superstar Lionel Messi met some of the children of Save a Child’s Heart yesterday prior to the friendly match between Argentina and Uruguay in Israel.
Abdi from Ethiopia, Mafunda from Zanzibar and Nadiga from Senegal were personally given signatures and shirts by the star striker.
It was an amazing moment and opportunity for Messi to hear about congenital heart diseases that affect 1% of all children in the world and the mission of Save a Child's Heart in partnership with Wolfson Medical Center to treat as many of them as possible from developing countries.
Many thanks to Sylvan Adams who made it all happen by bringing the teams to Israel to play, and for giving the SACH children that are here in Israel for life-saving heart treatment that magic moment with Messi.
